What is a "ROTOR ASSY"?
Hi Folks, I'm trying to decipher my car repair bill and a repair, including brake pads and disc replacements. There is an element of the list of non-called "ROTOR ASSY", of which the number is 2, is £ 30.14 (U.S. $ 600). Anybody know what this is? Would it be an element of service, or brake related? Thanks Edit: Apologies for typo, should read U.S. dollars U.S. 60.
It is the large metal disc brake pads against wear. If the pads are excessively worn, it is very common to also need rotors machined or replaced, depending on the extent of the damage the rotor.
