X-ray question?
My 12yo hurt his foot on Friday. She took him to the Dominican Republic (we live in a small town, so no many medical facilities here) and they did an x-ray. Dr. said he saw no jump in the photo, but wanted to ensure that sending an email electronic x-ray specialist (sorry do not know the terminology) that could ensure that there was a buckle fracture. Now the question … X-rays Email to a specialist in Austrialia! Why? Just seems crazy … there must be someone in the U.S. who can do that. Anyone know?
I am surprised that they sent so far, but I understand that they sent out. I work in a hospital and send our TC out within an hour's distance from services, and I know that a hospital nearby, send yours to California. (We are in Florida) just depends on what type of service used by radiologists. Australian rads Maybe they are cheaper;)
