Unused batteries die in a few months depending on age, temps, etc. They are probably dead. Any batteries' deep discharge in the same category (as the N22 or N24) will work. "Gel Pack" is better than the older "versions of lead acid. You need 2 of them. Skimobiles and other recreational vehicles not recharge the batteries because the unit uses deep discharge batteries. Generally, you can get quite cheap in places that sell a good selection, Walmart, for example. patrol battery, etc. is OK but not great prices also tend to check and install for free for you. After replacing it, post for the night every day you use the chair if the chair is seated, a position that even every two weeks during the night, although in use for several hours a week is better.
