Three solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of grade 1 listed building
Genting Stanley Ltd., which operates more than Brand 40 casinos across the UK, has selected to provide three Pickering Lifts Total lifts his place of flagship Crockfords Casino in downtown London.
Pickering, who have long maintenance contract with Genting Stanley, had worked at the place of Mayfair and was aware of the challenges presents the site.
Pickering Sales' Director Mark Thompson said: "As the grade 1 listed building had a number of difficulties to overcome including a lift shaft with a tight little space for the head and face lift, and restrictions on the time that could function as the casino remained open throughout the remodeling. "
Pickering installed three lifts in total at the casino, two of passenger lifts for customers and staff, all elevators engine room of its range of Sigma, and a food service elevator. All solutions were designed from scratch to meet specific requirements at headquarters and have been installed and tested.
Crockfords Casino is the world's oldest club Private game founded in 1828. The building has been recently renovated to add additional floors and a terrace for smoking customers.
David Barrett, head of development Property for Genting Stanley, added: "As Pickering manages the maintenance contract for all elevators, we were sure they could offer the solution we were looking for. Pickering was able to meet all our requirements of work which included a very tight schedule which meant they were unable to make noise after 11am. "
Thompson concludes: "Having worked with the rest of the group nationwide to install the lifts in all new versions and modifications of this type, Pickering has demonstrated it can provide end to end solutions and is an expert in customizing manufacture, installation and maintenance. "
