Mobility Metal

Smartphones are appearing more and more in 2008. Since the launch of next-generation iPhone 3G, more mobile phones are taking and smell the coffee: user experience is the key to winning over mobile phone users. That means we have mobile phones, such as X1 Sony Ericsson and HTC Touch Pro, both top-end smartphones, and both built around the plant itself. But … which one is superior?

HTC Touch Pro – Steamy Windows

HTC Windows Mobile phones have always, super-powered devices running on Microsoft's mobile software. Over time, We have seen many form factors, some with, some without touchscreens, and each of the high-end mobile phone was super power, due to the inclusion Windows. There was one thing though … you could not argue that Windows Mobile is the sexiest, or the operating system easier ever seen.

So things are different now, thanks to the HTC Touch Pro, which should really be called the Windows Mobile phone, where you can not say is that running Windows Mobile. That is until HTC TouchFLO 3D interface, which sits in the Windows software, and gives it a jazzy, funky, and let's be totally honest, the iPhone experience esque. It is a joy to own use, and as with most touchscreen phones today, is primarily designed for touch controls. So, you products screen in the HTC Touch Pro with a finger or a pencil. In terms of features, is good, too, with 3 megapixel camera, HSDPA, WiFi, GPS integrated completely awesome and a slide QWERTY keyboard. It really is an impressive mobile phone, and I'll be honest, it's hard to imagine another Windows phone Mobile even comes close.

Well, until you see the Sony Ericsson X1 …

Sony Ericsson X1 – premium looks, premium power

Based on the hardware configuration as the HTC Touch Pro, the X1 is Sony Ericsson's first Windows Mobile phone. That's a heck of a thing to match, and would be even worse if it was just a carbon copy of the HTC Touch Pro

Not yet …

Put the two together, and would be difficult to say that they are relations, at all.

You see, when the HTC Touch Pro goes for a glossy finish and slick, shiny faces, the X1 from Sony Ericsson is polished metal, and the premium materials. And boy does the two mobile phones look different. The Sony Ericsson is easily the most elegant looking device, and thanks to metal finishing less than a fingerprint magnet, too. There are a few notable differences, too, from the screen as the Sony Ericsson X1 has a widescreen 3-inch, exceeding the HTC Touch Pro If you look at the QWERTY keyboard, you will see a big difference in the design of these two cell mobile, well, since the Sony Ericsson slider design constructed using a 'single. In other words, when you slide open, the screen tilts, too, making it easier to write and see the screen at once. That has not been seen on any phone other phones before, and actually the whole Sony Ericsson Apart from the HTC Touch Pro Hardware-wise, they share the same features, camera, HSDPA, GPS and, of course, both running on Windows Mobile, but again, the Sony Ericsson X1 has its own interface stuck on top of the interface (the panels), and once again, is a marvel. So in the battle between Sony Ericsson X1 and the HTC Touch Pro, the Sony Ericsson takes the crown.
