My wife uses an air cushion in her wheelchair (ROHO). Anyone know of a very strong cover for the cushions?
We need to try cat. We have several cats, all of which have their claws. Just to clarify, I surfed the Net and found several productions. However, none of them is specified that can cope with the claws of the cat. I am looking for reccomendations of people who have experience with this.
I've worked with Rohos and chairs for 15 years. A cat 'proof' coverage would be so thick and tough that would counter the purpose of the pad. The cheapest option would probably be the switching to a less vulnerable mattress. Stimulites (http://www.sportaid.com/catalog/page48a.shtml) or Vicairs (http://www.medifixservices.ie/medifix/main/2006-SS-Vicair-Vector.htm) can achieve most of the benefits of Rohos, and in many situations, provide better support. (Note – I REALLY LIKE Vicairs made correctly.)
