High popularity at the moment, one of these heartburn medications, Nexium, reaching the position of third biggest selling drug in the world, accumulating more than $ 5.7 billion in 2005. These traditional treatments are often used for the relief of millions of people affected by the painful symptoms of gastro esophagus, the most common of which no doubt is heartburn.

1. Continued increase in the number of GERD (acid reflux) of patients in the Western world. Some 25 million acid reflux sufferers with recurring heartburn in 2006 alone in America.

2. Drugs for GERD are heavily marketed by companies with the advertising campaigns or by physicians to prescribe to patients.

2. Alginates act by creating an ark that surrounds the stomach contents to reduce reflux.

3. H2 receptor antagonists such as HB, Zantac and Pepcid AC 75. Cells by preventing the secretion of stomach acid, these drugs stop the gastric system and stomach acid production. H2-receptor antagonists have to be taken before any relief of heartburn, whether to produce.

4. Inhibitors proton pump (PPI) such as Nexium, which prevent the "proton pump in the stomach cells from working to prevent the release of acid stomach.

Serious side effects may occur in treatments for heartburn that use of such drugs. First, can cause pain headache, diarrhea and in some cases of osteoporosis. After that, his long-term impact is limited and the physical possibility of long-term dependency correspondingly greater. What happened to the tangle of mosquitoes that always seems to accompany the sight of model airplanes? The answer is to go electric and silent. Li-Po (Lithium Polymer or Li-Poly) batteries are rapidly becoming the standard power source for electric model airplanes. Li-Po are smaller, lighter and have more power than its predecessors (nickel cadmium and nickel-metal hydride). There are three characteristics to be taken into account when making a purchase of the Li-Po battery for electric model airplane.

The battery voltage will tell you how powerful it is, the amperage gives you an idea of how long it will last, and the burst / constant power will tell how quickly the discharge willpower. An important difference between batteries Li-Po and others associated with the use of RC model aircraft is that it is much easier to mistreat the battery creating risky situations for the consequences that may oc be dramatic. Li-Po batteries can be very dangerous if not followed all security procedures established by battery manufacturers.

In most cases, Li-Pos used for model airplanes come in two voltage ratings scores, 11.1V and 7.4V. The classification dictates how many volts the battery download to your brushless motor RC. Electric RC Model Aircraft engines themselves have to be related to the discharge voltage specification. The voltage of a battery Li-Po, is directly linked to the output of an engine RPM brushless motor that rotates 1000kvm rated 1000 times per minute for all volt battery receives. In other words, an engine capable 1000kvm is 7400 RPM when using a 7.4V Li-Po, and 11,100 RPM when using a 11.1V Li-Po. This information, combined with the propeller-type aircraft weight and gives you all the information necessary to calculate the final thrust of a given motor.

The amperage rating of Li-Po battery is rated in milliamps hour (mAh). This technical term that describes the time that the Li-Po will power the same way that the fuel tank size in a glow powered aircraft will determine how long the engine can run. Typical electric RC model airplane flights can last 20% -50% more time using Li-Po compared other batteries. The higher the mAh rating, the bigger and heavier the battery will be. This is an important factor to take into account when drafting RC electric model aircraft.

Li-Po burst rates describe the output characteristics of the battery. Breakage rates tell how much energy battery is able to securely download a huge explosion. This number is often greater than the constant power rating. Once the burst of energy has been discharged, the constant power rating, tells you where the output power will a.

Li-Pos come with very strict security guidelines that tell how to care for them. The charging, load times, and damage removal procedures battery just to name a few.
