What would make my computer speakers to hum lightly when the computer is on?
The regular sound works well, and quality is great, not because they are overloaded or anything because I can hear no play at all. It is only once so faint buzz that do not increase or decrease with the controls volume, and is coming from L and R speakers, and a deeper version of fashion is coming from my subwoofer. What can cause this and how can I avoid this? Thank you!
If the speaker system with a ground (3 feet) power cord that might resolve the problem by using 3-prong to 2 prong adapter. Often it takes to hum through the ground wire that is shared by the whole house. If you do not have an adapter you can also simply cut the ground, but I would connected to a surge protector (earth) and an adapter is less permanent.
