Pick up and read Sandy's Organic Health Powers was without doubt an experience of eye opening. Sandy tells the reader after being diagnosed with breast cancer and a diseased liver, was able to overcome these obstacles health by changing to a organic diet and the use of healthy oils for cooking and eating. Ms. Powers includes many of the recipes for healing in his book that she used to start your journey to health.
The loss of a father and brother in recent years with cancer, I experienced firsthand the limits of modern medicine. The assertion eat Sandy Organic foods help cure immediately caught my attention. Certainly the idea of eating healthy foods and developing a healthy lifestyle as a means of taking pro-active role in their own recovery was an idea that seemed attractive.
After her mastectomy, Sandy developed an alternative style Life turned out to be a lifesaver for her and could be for you too. Sandy describes exactly what is wrong with conventionally grown foods are in our grocery stores and how these foods have the potential to cause numerous health problems.
The book is well researched and well written. Sandy clearly explains how our food supply has been inundated with pesticides, toxic fertilizers, herbicides, hormones and antibiotics. Reading the book I wonder how many people in our society have been diagnosed with medical problems that could be directly caused by the many toxins found in our food! What is just as scary is how little people know about the state of our food supply and how the FDA is reckless in protecting America Region consumers. As disturbing as the information in this book has a happy and uplifting. After all, Sandy was able to overcome his medical problems and heal itself.
Organic Health
reader has a wide appeal. Even students in middle school where I teach have found the book to be fascinating and have done reports on the benefits of eating organic foods. Book of Ms. Powers is definitely worth reading.
