What if you use a video card that uses more energy than your computer's power supply?
I have a computer with only 250watt power supply and I use a video card, Forsa GeForce 6600GT 512MB DDR2 PCIe Video Card w / DVI TV-Out. I know its very little but used it before my eyes downgraded to xp, and they worked perfectly and without problems to play with only 250 watts of supply
1 to begin is the motherboard Handel PCI Express and now computers supllies power comewith over 450 to 500 watts. besides using a video requiress more power to run shortens the life of the source supply. you really need to make sure your computer can run that card. that no matter what you run Windows or OS. no matter at U of hardware have
