Perhaps the problem first, which holds the spiritual growth of many New Christians is a false analysis of the personal best. Until the waters of baptism, the would-be disciple is coached, guided, and swallow a number of truths and new information about God. It is not long for young Christians to experience the first movement of understanding about grace and mercy of God, and when the sinner is committed to moving away from a life guided by personal satisfaction and in its place comes to life in the likeness of Christ, is with the sincere intention and desire.
Unfortunately, soon the idea of giving her personal best to travel from God to those who fail to transition to the acceptance of instructions from others about a God love to fix their eyes on Jesus instead. As Satan tries to snuff the tender shoots of a growing love of the redeeming grace of Jesus' sacrifice, feelings failure begin to multiply. It is not the actual perfection of the Christian walk, but the stubborn persistence in it – to be the best it can be for God – That results in the final perspective of being made perfect when facing the Christian God and experience His grace and mercy first hand.
Is spiritual growth along the way that also permits for emotional healing to anyone trapped in the clutches self destructive feelings of inadequacy. A powerful tool in this effort is revealed in 2 Peter 1:1-11. In verse four, it appears that the Christian faith professes to be beautiful. In verses five through seven, a how-to manual that offers help to anyone who doubts their Christian walk to get back on track and let go of fears of a life that may have inadequate plagued them. The experience of grace and mercy of God today, let the experience of spiritual growth and emotional healing that comes in its path.
